About this Course

This digital photography class will introduce students to photography as an art form. Students will learn the ins and outs of digital camera controls and how to use them to create proper exposures. This class will cover a technical foundation, such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and composition, and break into basic editing skills using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Students will have the opportunity to practice concepts learned in class with weekly in-class shooting exercises. After 10 weeks, students will emerge with a small digital portfolio and a set of printed photographs created using an Epson Stylus Pro Inkjet printer.
