About this Course

Using still-life as inspiration and a learning tool, students will be introduced to a variety of subjects while concentrating on reinforcing the fundamentals of painting: drawing, composition, color, brushwork. Classes include a variety of demos, warm-ups, skills reviews, challenges and end-of-class critiques. Focus is on individual development. Students may work on their own personal subjects. Bring supplies and be prepared to paint in the medium of your choice. Beginners should take Drawing & Painting: Intro to Different Mediums as a prerequisite.
