About this Course

You've had basic color theory, now to put it into practice! Gain a deeper understanding of the effect of light on color with projects designed to increase observational and practical skills. Each week we paint a single object under different light and color conditions. Oil paint and a palette knife preferred, acrylic and palette knife OK. Previous enrollment in Secrets of Color or Painting the Still Life with Color and Light recommended. Materials list online at www.communityarts.org. Bring your color 'bible' from Secrets of Color to use as a reference. $10 supply fee due at first class.
