Open to runners of all experience levels, WCI Track is designed to help middle school athletes build endurance, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for fitness. Whether you're a returning runner, new to the sport, or a multi-sport athlete looking to boost your overall performance, this program offers a supportive and flexible environment to thrive. For those not involved in another sport, we recommend a commitment of at least 3 practices per week to see the best results and build consistency. Athletes will compete against other middle schools in both dual and invitational meets once every week in May, parents provide carpool transportation. Those looking to run without meets could join the non-competitive Run Club option running concurrently on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To make the most of the experience, runners will need to bring: A basic digital watch (to help with pacing and time goals) A water bottle (hydration is key!) Comfortable running shoes and clothing Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.) *No program 3/30, 3/31, 4/1 and 4/2*
