In this two‑day creative workshop, participants will design and build their own realistic monarch butterfly wings. On the first day, they will create wing templates, shape wire frames, wrap them with cloth, and strengthen the structure with plaster of Paris. After drying overnight, the second day focuses on painting techniques such as blending, shading, and highlighting to bring the wings to life with vibrant monarch‑inspired patterns. Participants will finish their artwork with a protective acrylic sealer and leave with a unique pair of handmade butterfly wings and a deeper understanding of monarchs and their migration.
