About this Course

Join us for a fun afternoon of gelli plate printmaking! This workshop focuses on exploration and enjoying the process of creating one of a kind prints. Sip complimentary drinks and light refreshments as you experiment with rainbow rolls, texture, and pattern. During class, students will learn how to roll out ink and use a gelli plate to create layered impressions, color blends, and textures. Through guided instruction, participants will practice rainbow roll techniques, stenciling, masking, and mark‑making to produce expressive and unique monoprints. The workshop will include: • Warm‑up exercises to get comfortable with gelli plate tools • Step‑by‑step demonstrations of rainbow roll technique • Guidance on layering colors and textures to create pleasing composition • Instruction on using stencils, found objects, and hand‑cut shapes for added effect • Time to create multiple finished gelli prints (approximately 5×7" and/or 5x5") Level: Beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels. Perfect for anyone interested in printmaking. Age: Ages 16+ Supplies: All supplies are included in the class fee. Everyone will work with a 5x5" or 5x7" gelli plate.
