About this Course

Spring Camp Artist Studio: Shaping the World is centered on creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Local teaching artists encourage young artists to see how their ideas and creative choices can shape their communities and futures—proving that every artist has the power to make a positive impact. Artist Studio is a full-day camp for ages 5–8 and 8–12 that offers hands-on exploration of a wide range of art forms. Campers engage in visual-arts–focused mornings with activities such as painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture, followed by afternoons featuring 2D and multidisciplinary arts like music, dance, or theater. The camp runs on a block schedule of one-and-a-half-hour sessions, with art concentrations subject to change.
