
Early Bird Discount Ends 4/1/2023 Your day will begin in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains as you board Roaring Camp Railroad's Beach train. Traveling through the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, down the San Lorenzo River and across the 1090 steel truss bridge and through an 1875 tunnel before arriving at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. When the train route opened in 1875 it was the passage for not only lumber but picnickers and tourists to the Big Trees of Santa Cruz. The Boardwalk's roots go back to 1865, when John Leibrandt opened a public bathhouse near the mouth of the San Lorenzo River, the boardwalk then evolved in 1907. The family-operated Boardwalk has been entertaining guests by the beautiful beachside for over 110 years. You will have 3 hours of free time on the Boardwalk to enjoy the nostalgia and a no-host lunch on your own. No refunds. Cost includes round-trip motor coach transportation, train ticket, and driver gratuity, taxes and fees. Free time on the Boardwalk, No Host Lunch.
