About this Course

Come aboard the USS Potomac, FDR's Floating White House! Be part of the sailing season's Opening Day flotilla of ships, sailboats, and other decorated watercraft, all turning out on San Francisco Bay! We'll see the Blessing of the Fleet in Sausalito and then join in the front of the boat parade with the fire boats spraying their hoses. You'll also enjoy the picturesque views and sights as we are cruising around by Alcatraz, Angel Island, Treasure Island, the San Francisco waterfront and other sights. The three-hour cruise includes a delicious boxed lunch. Coffee, tea, and water are always available at no charge. The USS Potomac Association requires that all guests wear flat-soled shoes onboard. Vessels on the Bay can roll and pitch unexpectedly. The Presidential Yacht USS Potomac is a historically preserved vessel. As such, it does not fully comply with the facility access standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ship allows limited access for the mobility impaired. No refunds for cancellations unless a replacement is booked.
