About this Course

Join us and explore hand building in ceramics! Art instruction is provided by Center for Community Arts Teaching Artist, Ellen Sachtschale. Students will learn hand building techniques including pinching, sculpting, and glazing to create playful pieces that can be useful or decorative. This class is for senior (50+) community members that are experiencing financial hardship. All supplies are provided. Registration is required for those who would like to participate. This program is provided by Center for Community Arts with support from the Civic Pride Grant and Community Arts Foundation. No Fee.
