About this Course

Building on the work in our Beginning Improv! class, we'll take a deeper dive into the art of improvisation. We'll explore storytelling, character development, scene structure and world-building as we learn how to improvise longer and more substantial scenes. We'll add depth to our "short form" scenes with a focus on partner-connection and truthful emotions. Plus, we'll take our first step into "longform" improvisation with an introduction to two classic formats: The Harold and The Montage. Students must have previously taken Beginning Improv or receive permission from the instructor to register for the class.
