About this Course

“Journey back in time to redwood forests echoing with train whistles…” You will depart from Felton for a one hour round trip train excursion where you will travel over trestles, through towering old-growth coastal redwoods and up a winding narrow-gauge grade to the summit of Bear Mountain as conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and the forest. Upon returning to Roaring Camp you will enjoy a deliciously hosted barbecue lunch, complete with marshmallows to roast. Cost includes motor coach transportation, burger lunch (veggie burger offered too), roundtrip train excursion, and driver gratuity. Level 2 two block walking to train station.
