About this Course

Interested in showing your Squire pride and being a part of this year’s basketball team to represent Walnut Creek Intermediate School? All are invited to register to try out for the Girls Competitive Basketball Team! Program focuses on improving skills and developing teamwork/sportsmanship within supportive and challenging practices/games. Tryouts are required, playing time is not guaranteed, and competitive games will be played at area middle schools. Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to games. All students must attend both tryout dates on 10/25 and 10/26. Students selected for the team will be notified after tryouts. Refunds will be issued for any students not selected for competitive teams. Commitment/Schedule: 3 days a week on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. 1 hour practice between 3:30-6pm 1 hour games between 4- 6pm (home and away games) Exact schedule to be communicated after tryouts. *Team grade make up are subject to student try out participation. Please call (925) 943-5858 to register if unable to do so online. An additional $50 uniform deposit is added at checkout. This deposit is required and will be refunded at the end of the season upon return of the uniform.
