Experience the beauty of the Año Nuevo Coast Preserve with a visit to Cascade Restaurant at Costanoa Lodge in Pescadero for a delectable brunch featuring fresh California coastal cuisine made with local, organic, and handcrafted ingredients. Afterward, journey a bit further up the coast to witness northern elephant seals in their natural habitat within the Año Nuevo Coast Natural Preserve. Knowledgeable volunteer docents are on hand to provide insights into the park's natural and cultural history. Depending on the season, you may observe the seals engaging in various activities, such as molting during the spring and summer months, when they come ashore to shed their outer layer of skin and fur. Tour includes van transportation, docent-led equal access wildlife viewing @ Ano Nuevo State Park, brunch @ Costanoa Lodge, and all gratuities. We will be outside for the duration of the tour. Please wear athletic shoes and bring layered clothing as it can be quite cool on the Northern California Coast. Drive time approximate 1-2 hours each way (dep on traffic). Departure is from Heather Farm Lot 2. Level 1 walking - easy mobility with specially arranged equal access vans for transportation to the viewing location. No refunds for cancellations unless a replacement is booked.
