About this Course

For young artists interested in having fun while taking their drawing and painting to a higher level. Explore a variety of subjects, developing an understanding of form, composition, line, light/shadow, and color. Students will explore basic techniques and then move on to more complex projects. Due to shorter classes and a condensed session, students will focus on drawing with pencils/charcoal and painting with acrylics and watercolor or gouache. Return students will receive individual help in their areas of interest.
