About this Course

Exploratory painting for primary school-age children. Fundamental painting techniques will be will be taught as students explore the basic design concepts of line, shape, color, texture and more. Various mediums will be explored. Children repeating this class will complete extended projects that provide further independent growth and development. MATERIALS Materials will vary week-to-week but standard art supplies should be on hand including: Mixed Media paper 9x12 Watercolor paint Paintbrushes/cup Tempera Paint (red, blue, yellow, white, black) Scissors Glue Oil Pastels/crayons pencil/eras Paper Plate, plastic palette, or other flat container for paint markers Paper Towels Drawing pencil/eraser
