About this Course

This is a slow-paced, easy introduction to watercolor, painting, color theory, and technique. We will do exercises that show you how to use the brush, get the right amount of paint and water mixture, how to identify the ingredients in a color to reproduce it, and basics of paper and pigment use. We will do an exercise each week, with pre-class video students can play over and over as needed. We will not produce paintings, but you will know how to use materials and understand what is needed to produce paintings in the future.
