About this Course

Walnut Creek Arts + Recreation and Walnut Creek Downtown welcomes community members with special and/or adaptive needs to a special afternoon on the ice! Thursday January 20th from 4:30 to 6:30pm will have complimentary access for those individuals with special abilities and a discounted entrance fee of $5 per individual for any family member or aide. Come out and enjoy this super “cool” group gathering time when the ice rink will be specially designed for low sensory overload and controlled to limit the amount of external stimuli. City staff will be on site to engage your participate. Ice skates and glider rentals are available on a first come; first- served bases. Please register everyone attending so we can have an estimate of the number of participants coming. (No payment required to register. Pay at day of event on site).
