Tour Highlights: Start the day with a visit to the newly developed Tunnel Top Park, offering breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Presidio’s stunning natural beauty. Take a tour of the Officers Club as you learn about the history of the Presidio Museum. Explore a fascinating archaeological site that reveals the layers of history beneath this remarkable area, from its military roots to its role as a vibrant cultural space today. Finally, step back in time with a visit to Fort Point, the historic Civil War-era fortress offering dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay. Lunch on Your Own: Enjoy some free time to grab a bite at the food trucks stationed on the Main Parade Ground, offering a variety of options (listed in May) or bring your own bag lunch.
