About this Course

Join Specialized Recreation for a fun day on the water with BORP! BORP is a Berkeley based organization that provides safe flatwater kayaking for people with disabilities. BORP works with paddlers to maximize safety and independence on the water. Participants will engage in a water safety discussion, spend time exploring the enclosed lagoon with BORP staff and volunteers, and enjoy lunch with their peers after kayaking. Registrants will be required to complete a BORP membership form and will receive an email after registration with instructions on how to do so. This event is designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
